Overview
Base provides a blockchain infrastructure on which businesses and developers can build financial products such as embedded trading, global payments, and tokenized assets. It supports over 1,000 businesses and enables sub-second, low-cost transactions around the clock. Users can trade, lend, and borrow assets including tokenized stocks, which are issued by Coinbase and backed by real shares held with a regulated custodian.
