Firelight is a protection layer for onchain digital asset infrastructure, connecting builders who need coverage for DeFi protocol failures with capital providers who back that coverage in exchange for yield.
Firelight provides a coverage marketplace for onchain products, allowing builders of DeFi-based earn programs to obtain protection against defined protocol failures such as smart contract exploits and oracle failures. Coverage terms, scope, pricing, and capacity are registered onchain, and claims are reviewed by an independent panel called the Risk Consortium. Capital providers stake assets into non-custodial vaults and earn a share of fees paid by platform operators who enable Firelight coverage.
