Quantus is a layer-1 proof-of-work cryptocurrency designed to be resistant to attacks from quantum computers.
Quantus issues a digital currency called QTC with a supply cap of 21M, secured using the NIST FIPS 204 ML-DSA Dilithium-5 post-quantum cryptographic standard rather than the ECDSA or ED25519 algorithms used by Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The network uses recursive STARKs for scalability and claims a throughput of 430 QTPS. QTC enters circulation through open proof-of-work mining, and users can access it through iOS and Android wallet apps. The project also runs a podcast and publishes educational content about quantum computing risks to existing cryptocurrencies.
