## What we do

THORChain operates a decentralized exchange that lets users swap native cryptocurrencies across 13 blockchains directly from self-custody wallets, with no account creation or KYC required. The protocol uses RUNE as the settlement asset paired in all liquidity pools, replacing the need for wrapped tokens or bridges. Apps, wallets, and websites can integrate THORChain via a free API and attach a custom fee to swaps. A network of 95 nodes secures the protocol, and all transactions are executed on-chain.
