## What we do

World issues a credential called World ID, obtained by scanning a person's iris with a hardware device called the Orb, which allows apps and services to confirm a user is human without collecting personal data. It has issued more than 18 million human credentials and recorded more than 450 million uses of World ID globally. World also operates a financial app called World Money and a blockchain called World Chain, alongside enterprise and government solutions built on the World ID protocol.
